The issue

Colin, Managing Director of Bob & Berts, wanted a loyalty app that worked with the chain’s existing EPOS so stamps and rewards updated in real time at the till. Off-the-shelf loyalty tools could not integrate cleanly with the point-of-sale system.

Our scope

iOS and Android app design and development, bespoke EPOS integration for real-time loyalty updates, Click & Collect ordering, Wallet passes, QR scanning, store locator, push notifications, App Store and Google Play publishing, then ongoing hosting and maintenance.

The solution

We built the app and an in-house integration layer that talks to the EPOS, so a customer buys a coffee, scans a QR code at the till or kiosk and sees the stamp land on their digital card immediately. Customers can order ahead for Click & Collect, add their loyalty card to Apple or Google Wallet, find their nearest store, and receive offers by push notification. We host and maintain the app for the business.

Results

Bob & Berts reports the app has over 15,000 downloads. Available on the App Store and Google Play.
